About Project:

A Bespoke Multi-Cultural Destination

As Group Senior Design Manager, Shannon Cloete and the Group Property Development Director of The Star and core project management team led the strategic design and development of capital revitalisation Astral Lobby Refurbishment, creating a world-class, award-winning experience. The project included the delivery of key hospitality enhancements and new entry experience. Going on to win several awards, including the 2019 Australian Design Award for Hospitality.

Working closely with Lombard & Jack, and Luchetti Krelle, we transformed a challenging, windowless location into a luxurious, immersive experience that seamlessly transitions from day to nightâ€- a sanctuary for high tea, bespoke tea/coffee experiences, and evening cocktails.

A Jewel-Toned Destination Handcrafted jade wall, rich brass detailing, and warm ambient lighting.

Day-to-Night Transformation Bespoke brass back-bar doors reveal tea by day, spirits by night.
