Shannon Cloete | Group Senior Design & Development Manager

It starts with an idea and a clear place-making vision, led by Shannon Cloete (Group Senior Design Manager) alongside the Group Development Director for The Star Entertainment Group. Shannon guided the client-side design, collaborating with top firms such as Jerde, Cottee Parker, and Bar Studios. As the client head of Design for the Star’s joint venture, Shannon represented a 50% ownership, managing partnerships and ensuring design quality aligned with a world-class Integrated Resort vision.

His role included leading and mentoring the team, shaping the design vision, and coordinating consultants across interiors, landscape, and architecture to follow this strategic direction. He also ensured timely updates for public communication and secured key design approvals from the Chairman, CEO, stakeholders, and media.

Leading a bold vision and providing clear, collaborative outcomes is crucial to creating a world-class tourist destination that offers unforgettable experiences for both international and local guests.

  • Shannon lead international design tour & studies for CEO & Board

  • Strategic vision for world-class resort development

  • Implementation Selection Head & appointment of world-class design firms

  • Lead design managers, reporting to Shannon Cloete's team for Group Project design

  • Hand over to main stakeholder Group with continued vision & strategic advice to CEO & JV partners
